Central Delco Jr. Tennis League

An Affordable Tennis Program Managed and Run by the Philadelphia Area Team Tennis Association

Learn and Play Tennis on a Team!  Just as in baseball, soccer, and basketball, players will be placed on tennis teams and play against other teams.  Here are some details:

Where: Sun Valley HS Tennis Courts

When: Matches and Practices will be Saturday mornings and at 1 of 3 sessions:

Red Ball Division
For Ages: Players in Grades K-2 (minimum age is 5)
Format: Red Transition Balls, 36 Foot Court
Time First 3 Sessions: Saturdays, 9:00am-10:00am
Last 4 Sessions: Saturdays, 8:45am-10:00am

Orange Ball Division
For Ages: Players in Grades 3-4 (very experienced 2nd graders may play also)
Format: Orange Transition Balls, 60 Foot Court
Time First 3 Sessions: Saturdays, 10:00am-11:00am
Last 4 Sessions: Saturdays, 10:00am-11:15am

Green Ball Division
For Ages: Players in Grades 5-8 (very experienced 4th graders may play also)
Format: Green/Yellow Balls, 78 Foot Court
Time First 3 Sessions: Saturdays, 11:00am-12:00pm
Last 4 Sessions: Saturdays, 11:15am-12:30pm

Dates for the program will be: 9/7, 9/14, 9/21, 9/28, 10/5, 10/12, 10/19
Rain makeups may be done by extending a week or on a Sunday

Cost: $90 for the season: this includes uniform, award, and end of season celebration

Level of Play: The league is for beginner and intermediate players

Weekly Format: The first 3 weeks will be practices, focusing on fundamentals, games, and scoring.  The last 4 weeks will be devoted to match play against other teams.  The last session will be a match/awards ceremony.

September 3rd   – Registration Ends
September 7th     – First Practices
September 28th – Anticipated Matches Begin
October 19th – Anticipated final matches/Awards Ceremony

Registration: http://local.phillyteamtennis.org/localfall/localregf15/.  Please note that we can only take a certain amount of players in this league for the fall.  We will take no more than the following players per division: 8u- 24, 10u- 24, 11 to 14- 24.
