The PATTA Staff is led by Justin DePietropaolo and Justin Landis. Justin and Justin have been prominent figures in the Southeastern Pennsylvania tennis scene since their playing days in the early 2000’s. They’re both certified teaching professionals with mutual experience running tennis on campus programs and working extensively with the United States Tennis Association, specializing in Community Development. They share a vision of tennis as a fun, recreational, team based sport to be enjoyed by kids of all ages and economic backgrounds.
Justin DePietropaolo (USPTA) – Executive Director
Justin DePietropaolo is the founder and Executive Director of the Philadelphia AreaTeam Tennis Assocation and co-owner of Just Tennis Enterprises. He is certified by the USPTA has taught tennis at Radley Run Country Club, Healthplex Sports Club, Tennis Addiction Sports Club, and Whitford Country Club before taking on Just Tennis and PATTA full-time in 2011. He is also the Assistant Boys Tennis Coach at Downingtown East High School, the Head Coach for the Lionville Middle School Tennis Club and has also held head coaching positions at Sun Valley and Garnet Valley High Schools.
Justin started his tennis career at Downingtown High School before moving on to Penn State University to become one of the founders of Penn State Club Tennis. In 2012, he won the Janet Lauer National USTA Jr. Team Tennis Organizer of the Year Award. Besides tennis, he enjoys running, stand-up comedy, playing guitar and spending time with his wife and 2 kids.
Justin Landis (PTR) – Deputy Director
Justin is a USPTR Certified Tennis Instructor (in both Adult and Junior Development) and former Division 1 player and Tennis Club President at Temple University. Justin is also currently the Head Girls Tennis Coach at the Westtown School as well as the Managing Partner of Just Tennis, LLC. He’s excited to bring his tennis experience to the Philadelphia Area Team Tennis Association.
Justin has 9 years of experience in the tennis business, ranging from CommunityDevelopment Intern/League Coordinator/Collegiate Board Member/Administrative Assistant for the United States Tennis Association Middle States Section to serving as the Director of Junior Tennis for Picket Post Swim and Tennis Club where he spearheaded their Junior Team Tennis and 10 and Under Tennis initiatives.
He has also taught at White Manor Country Club, Springton Racquet Club, the Twin Valley YMCA and Kinetix Sports Club. Justin specializes in 10 and under tennis, youth program development, and running fun, fast paced drills for adults and kids.
