An Affordable Tennis Program Managed and Run by the Philadelphia Area Team Tennis Association
Learn and Play Tennis on a Team! Just as in baseball, soccer, and basketball, players will be placed on tennis teams and play against other teams. Here are some details:
Where: Valley Creek Park for the first 3 dates. The Phelps School for the final 4 dates.
When: Matches and Practices will be Sunday afternoons and at 1 of 3 sessions:
8 and under Red Division
For Ages: 5-8 Years Old
Format: Red Transition Balls, 36 Foot Court
Time First 3 Sessions: Sundays, 12:00pm-1:00pm
Last 4 Sessions: Sunday, 11:45am-1:00pm
10 and under Orange Division
For Ages:9-10 Years Old (Very Experienced 8 Year Olds May also Play)
Format: Orange Transition Balls, 60 Foot Court
Time First 3 Sessions: Sundays, 1:00pm-2:00pm
Last 4 Sessions: Sunday, 1:00pm-2:15pm
11-14 Yellow/Green Ball Division
For Ages:11-14 Years Old (Very Experienced 10 Year Olds May also Play)
Format: Yellow and Green Balls, Full 70 Foot Court
Time First 3 Sessions: Sundays, 2:00pm-3:00pm
Last 4 Sessions: Sunday, 2:15pm-3:30pm
Dates for the program will be: 4/25, 5/2, 5/9, 5/16, 5/23, 6/6, 6/13
Backup/Rain Dates will be: 5/30
Cost: $87 for the season, and includes uniform, award, and end of season party.
Level of Play: The league is for beginner and intermediate players.
Weekly Format: The first 3 weeks will be practices, focusing on fundamentals, games, and scoring. The last 4 weeks will be devoted to match play against other teams. The last session will be a match/awards ceremony.
Calendar:
April 19th – Registration Ends
April 25th – First Practices
May 16th – Matches Begin
June 13th – Anticipated final matches/Awards Ceremony

Additional Leagues: We also have leagues in West Bradford, West Chester, Chesterbrook, Morgantown, and Oxford. Please check the website for additional league locations.
